About Miranda Cunningham

Raised in a blue-collar union household, Miranda Cunningham is an assistant professor of practice in Child, Youth, and Family Studies at Portland State University. She enjoys working with students, especially returning students and/or first-generation college students who share her nontraditional educational path. Her research and publications include a focus on the experiences of first-generation students in social work and child and family studies.
