Pilar Gonzales

About Pilar Gonzales

Pilar Gonzales continues as a philanthropic advisor and fundraising consultant, now based out of Fort Bragg, California.

Currently she works with the Noyo Center for Marine Science (www.noyocenter.org), where all her talents are put to good use on behalf of the marine environment in her new home community. Over 25 years, Pilar has worked with extraordinary organizations such as IDEX, RSF Social Finance, Global Fund for Women, and Jewish Voice for Peace.

She was featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy, Bolder Giving, NPR’s Marketplace and in PEOPLE Magazine, who listed her as one of the “Heroes among Us” for her commitment to marginalized immigrant workers in California.

She is sustained by the love of her husband/partner, one faithful dog, one surly cat, and a grandson named Teo.
