Annie grew up with her mom and sister in Stone Mountain, GA a suburb of Atlanta. Being raised by a single-parent resulted in few financial resources but because of her mother’s education Annie and her sister were able to navigate complicated financial aid systems to gain access to private school and club sports teams. Annie graduated from Wellesley College in 2014 with a dual degree in Economics and Women and Gender Studies. Her interest in social justice solidified while interning with a domestic violence group in Chicago. Annie is the Administrative Coordinator at Class Action.
