Thanks for your interest in attending the 2015 First Gen Student Summit: Exploring the 1st Gen Identity
Campuses are strongly encouraged to send a cohort from their school of – typically 3-7 students and 1-2 non-student allies (staff or faculty). There will be opportunities at the summit to learn from other campuses, network and connect with others and finally, work in small groups with your own campus cohort to develop action plans related to your own campuses. (Note: We will also provide opportunities for folks without a campus cohort to participate in planning).
If you are registering multiple people from your campus, but do not yet have your full participant roster, that’s ok! Please use your own email as a placeholder and we will be in contact in February to confirm.
We will also have Lunch and Learn discussion caucuses over lunch. When registering, please indicate which of the following might interest you, we will confirm with you by March 3rd. Topics: Private Institutions, Public Institutions, From a city, From a rural background, Students of color, LGBTQ students, Students with disabilities, Activism and Social Media. Do you have other suggestions? Please let us know.
If your school is a co-host or if you are a presenter, you will be provided with a discount code for free registration for non-students. If you have not received your discount code, please email us.
