Bridging the class divide

Vote for a Seattle Area Cross-Class Bridge Builder

Class Action received many great Seattle area nominations for the Cross-Class Bridge Builder award to organizations who:

  • actively pursue participation by people of diverse classes and races

  • raise the voices and support the leadership of working class and poor people

  • have an organizational culture that draws on the strengths of all class cultures

The award will be presented on Friday, September 19th at Elliot Bay Bookstore, where Betsy Leondar-Wright will be doing a book talk about her new book, Missing Class. We  hope to see you at the book talk or at our daylong workshop, Class & Social Change: Harnessing the Strengths of Diverse Class Cultures, on September 2oth.
